Lawrence-Ray Concepts (LRC) is a hair maintenance product company created by celebrity hairstylist and makeup artist Lawrence Ray Parker II in 2004. Throughout the course of his 20 year career, Ray was consistently asked by his multi-cultural clientele as to where they could find chemical free, non-toxic and biodegradable products that would include essential nutrients for healthy hair growth and maintenance. He also found this same inquiry while working around the world. It became increasingly apparent to Ray that consumers are more knowledgeable and desiring of organic and natural hair maintenance products that leave hair with radiant shine, bounce and behavior.

During Rays experience as a beauty industry educator, he was approached by stylists desiring products geared towards creating healthy hair and scalp treatment. In his quest to provide a solution to the need, Ray experimented and worked with multiple products on the market; but, found no one specific line that fully answered the question being asked. While helping to develop products for other companies, Ray learned their product development was based on targeting race before texture. This manner of product development produced ethnicity based products rather than products addressing the need for healthy hair maintenance and scalp treatment. Immediately Ray foresaw the need for a foundational product suitable for everyone targeting the aspects of HEALTHY hair and scalp. It was this understanding of consumer and hair care industry need that Lawrence Ray Concepts created its Mega Bounce and Body Hair Care system, a foundational hair maintenance system of nourishment and treatment.
